UMass Permaculture Garden Tour Request Form

We are happy to share our work in permaculture design, sustainability, community building, edible landscaping, site regeneration, and student empowerment with your group or class. We are very passionate about what we do, and sharing our stories is an essential part of our mission.

We offer tours throughout the growing season, mid-April through early November. Despite continued growth of our initiative, our team remains small, and our availability for tours is limited. We are usually available for tours on weekdays from 9am-4pm. By submitting this form, you are requesting particular date(s) and time(s), which we will do our best to accommodate. Note that we do NOT consider the tour reserved until we have responded to your request and confirmed via email. Expect to hear from us within 1-2 business days from submission of this form. A typical tour lasts about an hour, but we can run as short as 30 minutes or as long as 2 hours to best fit your needs.

We look forward to seeing you in the garden!

Name
We normally host groups of up to 30. With some creative logistics, we can host up to 60 by providing additional tour guides and dividing into subgroups. Unfortunately, we simply cannot fit more than 60 people in our garden at one time.
We offer tours throughout the growing season, beginning March 24th and up through November 7th. We are available to give tours on weekdays 9:00am- 5:00pm. If you cannot make these available times we will try to find a time that works for both of us.
Would you like to see your group get their hands dirty?
A typical tour lasts 1 hour, but we can shorten it to fit your needs, or add additional time to get your hands dirty
Do you want to postpone in case of light rain?
We're happy to host your group even in light rain. We will postpone in case of heavy precipitation, or if thunderstorms are forecast.
The more we know, the better we can tailor our tour to your group's needs and interests.
